  • Sole proprietor of architectural design practice. 
  • Working in Commercial, residential and industrial design projects.
  • Owner and operator/designer/collaborator/residential contractor of various and diverse built artifacts including a mud bath with Bababa International in Melbourne, Australia and a Bavarian cottage in upstate New York. 
  • Completed many residential projects along the east coast and internationally.

Project Architect

  • Architect and team member. Primary duties were managing education projects as they progressed from design through construction. Responsible for Charleston BAR review and general team support. 
  • Completed three Dorchester County School renovations and additions throughout construction.
  • QA and QC for projects, design changes RFI’s and document creation.

2003-2008    VDL Associates LLC                              Charleston, SC

Project Architect

  • Led team in designing commercial infill addition to circa 1782 building on Broad Street on time and within budget.
  • Responsible for directing and reviewing work of 3 full time interns.
  • Received two AIA-SC awards for firm.

2000-2004    Goff D’Antonio Associates                  Charleston, SC

Project Architect

  • Completed three Charleston County School renovations and additions from design through construction.
  • Designed and managed the construction of Factors Walk Condominiums in downtown Charleston.
  • Completed numerous designs and documents for commercial and retail buildings including Patrick Veterinary clinic and Brinson’s Steak House.
  • Assisted in developing marketing presentations for project proposals

1999-2000    Wayne Windham Architect P.A.         Johns Island, SC

Project Architect

  • Completed 5 residential projects on Kiawah Island ranging from $750,000 to $2 million from conceptual design through construction documents.
  • Introduced technical innovations to firm such as 3D drafting and visualization.
  • Received South Carolina architectural license and NCARB registration March 2000.

Architectural Intern

  • Completed numerous residential projects on Kiawah and Seabrook Islands from client contact through construction.
  • Projects ranged from $600,000 up to $1.5 million
  • Introduced technical innovations to firm such as 3D architectural drafting and visualization.
  • Completed Architectural Registration Exam.

  • Completed drafting and code research on projects, including a theater mixed-use retail project, medical office building suites, industrial/office additions and an ecclesiastic sanctuary.
  • Completed IDP requirements in all areas and registered for the Architectural Registration Exam.

  • Founded as COO and managed residential contracting company with a maximun employment of 6 people.
  • Designed and constructed one Wild Dunes residence and completed numerous residential renovations on Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island.
